ZERO ZERO TOWER

This tall building has a basic structural arrangement which corresponds to a “tube-in-tube” system consisting in the double vertical tube system where both tubes act jointly through the floor slabs between them.

The basic load-bearing structure for horizontal actions is an inner elevator and service core made out of reinforced concrete. The facade structure is made up of a double assembly: the vertical columns of the inner facade and the sloping steel elements of the outer facade. They work together through connections set at floor level of each storey.
