LA RINCONADA VIADUCT TENDER

This viaduct, set in a built-up urban area, has been designed as a double composite action section viaduct set on abstract branch type piers. In order to prevent the “roofing” effect of the viaduct, great attention and care has been given to the detailing of the broad deck bottoms of the viaduct set at heights very close to users. In aesthetic terms the design has sought to make an intense contrast of the chromatic resources of the three materials employed: white concrete, golden brown Corten steel and the natural and articial vegetation in all its seasonal tones. The design emphasis has been to provide a calm, tranquil and luminous proposal on the basis of a dignified and simple solution.
